Shipt has added more than two million U.S. households in 1,300 zip codes to its service network that didn’t have access to the online retailer before. In addition, it has added nearly 1,000 more store locations to its marketplace; nearly half of which offer groceries.
In a post on the company’s website, Bridget Fruit, chief operating officer at Shipt, said of the expansion, “We have seen such a tremendous response to our services, particularly over the past 18 months while both consumers and retailers have really turned to Shipt as they began living and working in very different ways. We are always testing and constantly looking for ways to diversify and grow our business, whether that be finding ways to enhance the customer and shopper experiences through our apps or launching new retailers and everything in between.”
