Olive Oil Times penned a story celebrating importing veteran John J. Profaci for his contributions to the olive oil industry in the U.S. Profaci’s son, Joseph Profaci, is also mentioned for continuing his father’s legacy. He joined Colativa in 1993 as VP and general counsel and serves as executive director of the North American Olive Oil Association.

Dairy Processing reports that specialty cheese maker Emmi Roth’s recently opened 158,000-square-foot headquarters in Wisconsin.

The company shared that the new location allows the brand to control more of its supply chain and improve “the U.S. cheese industry’s overall conversion landscape.”

In a separate Food Business News story, CauliPuff’s puffed snack line launch was showcased. The brand uses a mix of cauliflower, rice, corn, and avocado to make the health-conscious snack.
