SFA Member Exclusive: Condiments Trend Report

Specialty Food Association recently launched a member benefit, made possible by SFA’s Distributor Committee, that takes a deep dive into a different category each month. April's report, which focuses on condiments, includes the following:

• More than a quarter (25.6 percent) of condiments are sold in the Natural/Specialty retail channel, according to SPINS.

• Mayonnaise is both the highest-selling condiment and the fastest-growing at retail in the past year, according to SPINS.

• Truffle aioli and onion jam are among nine condiments growing in independent and fine-dining foodservice, according to Technomic.
