Presidente Supermarkets plans to open seven more grocery stores across Florida in 2021, reports Progressive Grocer. The chain will focus on the tri-county area of Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade counties. Presidente Supermarkets already operates 31 stores in the state.
In addition, the grocer plans to introduce a new wholesale concept, Grand Plaza Distributors, this year, with its first location slated for Kissimee, Florida.
The new stores and wholesale concept will create more than 500 jobs, according to Presidente. Full Story
