Burns’ Family Neighborhood Markets, a family-owned and operated Delaware Valley-based retailer, opened the ShopRite of Drexeline in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania on September 1.
The 72,000-square-foot supermarket is operated by the Burns family, which has more than 40 years of industry experience. The family’s newest two-floor ShopRite serves as the anchor tenant of the Drexeline Town Center, replacing their former store.
Location features include a variety of freshly prepared homestyle hot entrees, sushi, Chinese cuisine, brick oven pizza, rotisserie chicken, and made-to-order sandwiches. There is also an in-store bakery a meat department, a seafood department with a selection of local seafood, a variety of local and fresh produce, a full-service deli department including gourmet and grab-and-go items, and an expansive beer and wine department. Curbside pickup is also available at the store.
“This store demonstrates our family’s continued commitment to serving the community and providing top-tier value, variety, and quality–along with exciting new store features such as wider aisles, more parking, and bigger savings with the same great staff,” said Patrick J. Burns, president and CEO of Burns’ Family Neighborhood Markets, in a statement.
The location also features Fresh to Table, a designated area with on-trend foods, easy-to-prepare ingredients, and meal solutions in a variety of grab-and-go formats.
