Natural Grocers is hosting its first Non-GMO Month throughout October to encourage shoppers to “say no to GMOs” with their dollars, the retailer announced.

As part of its initiative, Angela Wray, nutritional health coach at Natural Grocers Scottsdale, will introduce viewers to GMOs, covering what they are, why consumers should care, and the impact GMOs have on human, environmental, and economic health, according to the retailer. The class is available on Natural Grocers YouTube channel.

Natural Grocers is also offering savings of up to 50 percent off 30 non-GMO products including coffee, a variety of chocolates, chips, snacks, and Natural Grocers Brand 100 percent non-GMO bulk items including kombucha, bone broth, and pasta, Oct. 14-16.

During that time, loyalty program members will receive a free Natural Grocers brand non-GMO snack pack and additional discounts on certain non-GMO products. Customers can also enter to win a $500 Natural Grocers gift card.
