Meijer and Soylent, a nutrition shake company, unveiled an expanded partnership today making the brand’s four-pack shakes available at 219 locations, and single-serve bottles available at all 260 locations.
"Our expanded Meijer partnership advances Soylent's mission of making healthy and complete nutrition accessible nationwide," said Soylent's CEO, Demir Vangelov, in a statement. "Meijer customers are increasingly seeking great-tasting, plant-based products. Soylent's product line is delicious and scientifically developed to provide the perfect amount of vitamins, minerals, fats, carbohydrates, and protein that the body needs—all in one convenient package."
Soylent's complete nutrition shakes are naturally flavored, made with 39 essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, Omega-3s and Omega-6s, have 1g of sugar, and include at least 16 grams of plant-based protein in every bottle.
The decision follows a successful trial of single-serve bottles in Meijer stores and increases Soylent's offline presence to over 30,000 stores, including Walmart, Target, and HEB.
