Watcharee’s, maker of ready-to-eat Thai sauces, has entered into a new partnership with Meijer to sell its products in 258 stores across the Midwest with a launch timed to May’s Asian/Pacific-Islander Heritage Month.
Meijer will carry the full line of Watcharee’s sauces, including its best-selling Thai peanut sauce and pad Thai sauce, as well as the full range of classic Thai curry sauces – red, yellow, green, coconut, and massaman.
Created by Watcharee Limanon, a recognized Thai culinary artist from Bangkok, all sauces are manufactured in Thailand from fresh traditional ingredients, including aromatic herbs and spices, rich coconut milk, and tamarind.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Meijer,” said Watcharee, in a statement. “Their customer-centered philosophy and commitment to freshness aligns with our own values. People are busy, yet don’t want to compromise quality and flavor.”
Watcharee’s products are non-GMO verified, plant based, and gluten free with no artificial preservatives or other additives. The brand’s Thai Peanut Sauce is a recipient of a 2022 sofi™ New Product award.
