The Specialty Food Association and Lip Smacking Foodie Tours are offering two tour packages at next week's Winter Fancy Food Show in Las Vegas. Each tour takes participants to restaurants in Sin City for a sampling of signature dishes.
On Monday, February 7 at 5 p.m., participants of the first tour will explore downtown Las Vegas. This three-hour tour takes food explorers off the beaten path to Vegas’ booming, newly revitalized downtown with local chefs crafting farm-to-table, seasonal, artisan fare, and inspired craft cocktails.
With VIP status, immediate seating at each restaurant is guaranteed, and participants will enjoy three to four signature dishes. The expert guide will entertain with the history of this colorful district and what prompted its resurgence.
On Wednesday, February 9, participants in the second tour will hit the Vegas Strip. Beginning outside the Venetian Hotel near the outdoor Gondola rides at 1p.m., participants will enjoy a casual afternoon stroll of eating and exploring that provides the best introduction to the city.
This tour includes four stops during which participants will receive immediate seating and enjoy three to four signature dishes at each restaurant. The guided walking tour will be packed with insider information about Las Vegas and sights along the way.
Exhibitors and attendees will receive a discounted rates for both tours, as SFA is underwriting half the cost of the events. Tour 1 costs $73 person with an optional additional beverage package of $50 per person. This tour is limited to the first 100 reservations. Register here.
