Four lawsuits have been filed against Kroger by employees who assert they were paid less than they were supposed to make, or failed to receive a payment at all, reports Supermarket News.

The new payroll system seems to be to blame. Called MyTime or MyInfo, the system started exhibiting problems between September and November of 2022 at Kroger stores in Ohio, Oregon, Washington, and Virginia. The lawsuits also accuse the grocer of violating state and federal laws.

Kroger said that many issues have been resolved, claiming that it had expedited payments to employees affected by the error. Senators Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Ron Wyden wrote to Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen to understand the specifics of the issue. Full Story
