The Italian Food Awards will take place this Monday, June 26 at 4 p.m. during the Summer Fancy Food Show at New York's Javits Center on the Big Idea Stage. The awards are organized by Italianfood.net in partnership with Universal Marketing.
The most innovative food and beverage products from Italian companies will be named in the following categories: Beverage, Condiments & Sauces, Deli, Frozen, Oil & Vinegar, Pasta, Rice & Dry Mixes, Preserves, Snacks & Aperitivo. In addition, two awards will be given for Packaging and Sustainability.
Winners are determined as part of a two-step process including a vote by a jury of experts including retailers, international chefs and professional foodservice operators. These judges determine 70 percent of the ranking. Sales performance, based on analysis of U.S. retail market data provided by Circana, accounts for the remaining 30 percent.
