H-E-B will begin construction on its third location in the Dallas-Forth Worth area later this year, reports The Dallas Morning News. The store, located on the northeast corner of Custer Road and Eldorado Parkway in McKinney, Texas, will open in spring 2023, according to the retailer.
Last week, H-E-B broke ground on two stores in Frisco and Plano that it plans to open in fall 2022, according to the report.
Juan-Carlos Rück, H-E-B executive vice president over the North Texas region, said at the Plano groundbreaking last week that “H-E-B doesn’t build cookie-cutter stores.” The company has several shapes and sizes of its namesake stores depending on the size of lot available and the neighborhood.
