The stores will feature C&S' innovations in digital programming, loyalty, private brands, category management, promotional strategies, and fresh assortment, pricing, and marketing, said Eric Winn, COO of C&S Wholesale Grocers.
The new locations will open this week. New York State stores are in Warrensburg, Peru, Saranac Lake, Watertown, Rome, Sherrill, Cooperstown, Norwich, Owego, and Cortland. In Vermont, the new Grand Union will be located in Rutland.
To celebrate the grand openings, in-store ceremonies and special deals and giveaways will be offered. During the events, Grand Union stores will provide donations to local community partners to help keep their communities strong.
