A press release was fraudulently issued Friday that made the false claim that Kroger will begin accepting Bitcoin Cash. It was published on PR Newswire.
The story was picked up by a number of publications including SFA News Daily.
“This communication was fraudulent and is unfounded and should be disregarded,” a Kroger spokesperson said.
