Application Open for HERstory Made Business Grants

Specialty Food Association

In celebration of Female Founders Month, Just Fearless has launched the HERstory Made Business Grant Initiative to supply woman-owned businesses worldwide with $100 million to help scale businesses.

Just Fearless founder, Kisha Mays, wants this grant program to raise the number of female founders who generate at least $1 million in revenue from the current 3 percent of all entrepreneurs to 10 percent by the end of 2025.

“Entrepreneurship is jumping off a cliff and building either an airplane or parachute on the way down. It is a risk no matter what. So, the same risks that are taken with male founders should be taken with female founders,” said Mays, in an interview with SMEX10. “Make a choice to take a chance to be the change. Women are resourceful and powerful and always find a way to make it happen. That is why I am focused on investing in female founders.”

Female founders around the world are encouraged to apply by this Friday, May 27, 2022.
