Olli Salumeria will be using the show to sample its fastest-growing product lines – Olli(R) Snack Packs and Olli(R) Antipasto Trays, including the newest flavor: Pepperoni Snack Pack and Antipasto Tray with Salami, Cornichons & Onions and Cheddar Cheese Curds. The company is also leveraging the show as the first phase of a multiyear advertising, promotional and distribution initiative that will introduce its 100% antibiotic - and nitrate-free salami products to more retailers, discriminating foodies and all-natural snack lovers in 2022-23 than ever before.
While details of the marketing push will be unveiled in the coming weeks, President Oliviero Colmignoli can confirm that it will be the largest, most integrated campaign in the 12 years that Olli has been making salami in the U.S.
“We’re seeing a dramatic increase in the number of retailers and consumers who are discovering that it is possible to make slow-cured nitrate- and antibiotic -free Italian salami in the U.S. without sacrificing the authentic taste of Italy,” said Colmignoli. “Olli Salumeria is no longer the industry’s best-kept secret – so now’s the perfect time to leverage this momentum to take Olli to a new level of customer awareness, product trial and loyalty.”
Led by Colmignoli, the grandson of cured-meat legend Ferruccio Fiorucci, Olli Salumeria is driven to introducing Americans to the sweeter, less acidic taste of salami slow-cured in the Italian method. From state-of-the-art processing facilities in Oceanside, Calif., which Oliviero and his team selected for its Mediterranean climate, Olli combines genuine Italian recipes, curing techniques, never heat treated and quality with a commitment to being the first 100% preservative free Italian salami producer in America.
