June 2024 - The NW and Rocky Mountain Regional Food Business Center, a proud participant in the USDA Regional Food Business Center grant program, is poised to make a significant impact at the upcoming Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City. As part of their commitment to fostering regional food entrepreneurship, the Connecting and Scaling Food Entrepreneurs theme team is bringing nine innovative food businesses to showcase their products and talents on a national stage. These businesses include High Country Fungus, Tam’s Sweets, Tempo Eats, Papa Tony's Hot Sauce, SunGhee Kitchen, Creole Me Up, Pleasant Elevation Beverages, Mr. Joe's Hot Sauce, and 41 Grains.

Utilizing grant funding provided through the USDA Regional Food Business Center program, the Connecting and Scaling Food Entrepreneurs team has taken a bold step to sponsor booth fees for small and mid-sized businesses. This strategic move allows these entrepreneurs to join the Incubator Village at the Summer Fancy Food Show, a prime platform for connecting with buyers and distributors.

The Summer Fancy Food Show, scheduled for June 23-25, is one of the largest gatherings in the food industry, attracting professionals, buyers, and distributors from across the globe. Incubator Village is a specialized area within the show that focuses on supporting emerging businesses, providing them with a unique opportunity to showcase their products and build relationships within the industry.

The sponsorship of booth fees, made possible through the USDA Regional Food Business Center grant program, aligns with the Food Business Center's mission to strengthen the local food system by empowering entrepreneurs. By facilitating their participation in such a prestigious event, the Center aims to give these businesses the exposure they need to thrive, fostering growth and sustainability within the local food ecosystem.

The Summer Fancy Food Show promises to be an exciting platform for networking, collaboration, and business development. The NW and Rocky Mountain Regional Food Business Center, in collaboration with the USDA Regional Food Business Center grant program, is proud to play a role in elevating regional food entrepreneurs and contributing to the growth of the local food system.
