NJ wellness foods start-up bringing ancient foods and wisdom to modern day eating

July 25, 2023 -- AyurSome Foods, a New Jersey based wellness foods company, have launched their first ancient grain tea biscuits this month.

We thrilled to launch Einkorn tea biscuits aka cookies. This product is our ode to the mother of all wheat varieties, the Einkorn wheat” says Divya Kumar, founder & owner of AyurSome Foods. “We have forgotten how pure and nourishing wheat is when treated appropriately. Our Einkorn tea biscuits will help people incorporate the joy of eating pure and simple foods conveniently in a contemporary setting. To showcase the beauty of our local US grown grains, we use Einkorn whole wheat grown in PA, stone-milled in Marksboro NJ by River Valley Community grains”.

We’re extremely excited about our partnership with AyurSome Foods and the ability to provide locally grown ancient grain flour for their amazing tea biscuit” says Larry Mahmarian, co-founder of River Valley Community Grains.  “This is a great example of how relationships come together within the local food movement to provide healthier food to the communities we live in.”
