New Jersey Farm Wins Gold at 2024 Sofi™ Awards with Morning Mojo Herbal Tea.

[Mendham, New Jersey June 18, 2024] Mendham, New Jersey herb farm, The Naked Botanical, is celebrating a harvest of a different kind – a prestigious gold medal in the Tea category at the 2024 Specialty Food Association (SFA) Sofi™ Awards. The Naked Botanical's farm-grown herbs are the heart and soul behind Morning Mojo Herbal Tea, which triumphed in this highly competitive category.

“sofi Gold Award winners have accomplished something really extraordinary,” said SFA President Bill Lynch, “which is that they’ve risen to the top of incredibly competitive categories. Every year, we see a flood of superstar specialty food products submit for sofi consideration–those that earn top marks from our judges really are the best of the best.”

Morning Mojo Herbal Tea was selected by specialty food experts, buyers, and media as the top Tea product, alongside Gold Award winners in 49 total categories. Products are judged on taste, including flavor, appearance, texture, and aroma, ingredient quality, and innovation. All tastings are anonymous and are held at the Rutgers Food Innovation Center.

Morning Mojo is a one-of-a-kind blend, a cup of sunshine that features The Naked Botanical's farm-grown basil, oregano, alfalfa, echinacea, dandelion leaf, and other herbal ingredients. This certified organic tea offers a delightful way to energize your mornings without relying on caffeine, artificial flavors, or unnecessary additives. The Naked Botanical's special touch creates a flavor profile described as "summer in a bottle," a testament to the quality of their farm-fresh herbs.

"We are honored to have Morning Mojo selected for a Gold sofi award," says Anna Hackman, "This recognition celebrates the unique blend and taste of herbs that only a USA farm-grown product can deliver. This win is also for all the other farmers creating value-added products from their land, focusing on quality and taste while maintaining a sustainable footprint."

The sofi Awards are the pinnacle of excellence in the specialty food industry, and winning a gold award is a testament to Morning Mojo's exceptional quality and innovation. This recognition underscores the importance of farm-fresh ingredients and the excellence of Morning Mojo Herbal Tea.

The sofi Awards are open to members of the SFA, and have been given each year since 1972. Winners will be showcased at the 2024 Summer Fancy Food Show, running June 23-25, at the Javits Center in New York City, and celebrated at the first-ever sofi Awards Gala on June 24. Open only to the trade, the Summer Fancy Food Show is specialty food’s premier product discovery event. For more information, visit specialtyfood.com
