About PT. Kang International (dba Mamame Whole Foods)

Mamame was founded in 2020 by founder Alvina Chun. Located in Jakarta, Indonesia the company’s philosophy is to create healthy, nutritious snacks using traditional Asian ingredients. Tempeh is typically made from tapioca flour and fermented soybeans, and is a popular staple in Southeast Asia as a vegan, alternative protein. Because of the environmental and dietary implications of soy, Mamame uses non-GMO black-eyed beans to create its Tempeh Chips. The tempeh is batch-made in-house by specialists in a process that takes 52 hours. Currently on shelves in South Korea and Japan, the company aspires to be available to healthy snackers across the globe.
