Judge Casey's Rebrands and Launches New Website

Specialty Food Association

San Francisco, CA (August 4, 2021) – Judge Casey’s introduces an updated brand logo and total brand re-design to increase consumer awareness of its truly original and famously thick ketchup.

With its rebrand, the company really stands out on shelves and online with a much more prominent Judge image front and center of their eye-catching paper labels that embody an old time gourmet product.

The owners have always known the importance of having a brand design that communicates quality and differentiates from the competition and with the rebrand they do just that.

“The decision to rebrand arose as we were working on new flavors. Initially the design just needed to accomodate these new flavors. However, once we started this work we realized it was time to revisit the core brand messaging and aesthetic. We worked with a top notch branding agency from my hometown of Dublin, Ireland. They were key to delivering the updated brand that really embodies our personality and we are very pleased with the results.”, says Stephen Bray, Head Saucerer and CEO of Judge Casey’s. The new branding can be seen on their sleek new website.

This unique recipe started in Ireland, went around the world and made a home in San Francisco.

Over the years Irish friends Peadar and Stephen travelled through Southern Africa, Australia and Southeast Asia. Later they began their longest trip, two years driving motorcycles from the Southernmost tip of South America to the Northernmost point of Alaska.

Along the way, the two friends cooked and made Judge Casey’s Ketchup, a recipe that had been handed down in Peadar’s family from his grandmother.

Reaching the end of the road, the two friends got back to work. Their next big adventure together was to be the food business. They knew that increasing numbers of people were really starting to share their passion for clean foods and they wanted to start a company that shared this passion …with an Irish twist.

Who was the Judge?

The name of their ketchup is a tribute to Peadar’s great grand uncle. Judge Casey is part of family lore, an Irish immigrant who came to America in the olden days and rose to the level of Judge, hotelier, brewer and all round Legend.

“His achievements and success as an Irish immigrant inspire us,” relates Stephen, “so we named our Ketchup after him. He would be proud to know his name lives on through our ketchup and we hope it matches the Judge’s zeal for life.”

Where to Find:  Judge Casey’s can be found at high end grocery stores, such as Whole Foods in Northern California, QFC in the Pacific Northwest, United Markets and Central Markets in Texas and many more. A longer list can be viewed on the company’s website store list.
