Responsible Foods, ehf. is the home of NæraTM Snacks- Iceland´s Most Delicious Better-For-You Snacks. Responsible Foods is a growing food and tech start-up founded in 2019 in Reykjavik, Iceland by food scientists Dr. Holly T. Kristinsson (Petty) and her Viking husband Dr. Hordur G. Kristinsson. Holly, from Alaska, has all her life struggled with food allergies and intolerances and was reinvigorated by Icelandic food.
