Houston, TX, March 3, 2021 -- Gallivant Mawa Ice Cream, a woman founded food company, is celebrating women in history this month by paying the shipping costs, a $35 value, for all direct-to-consumer orders placed March 1 - March 31.
“Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture, society, business and more,” Snehee Chaplot, founder and CEO of Houston TX-based Gallivant Mawa Ice Cream said. “As a woman and founder of an ice cream company, I owe a debt to all the trailblazing women who came before me, and the women of my generation who continue the legacy,” she added.
As a food entrepreneur, Chaplot, who’s also a food scientist, wanted to come up with a way to draw attention to and celebrate Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, March 8, while at the same time getting her award winning ice creams into the hands and mouths of more people. “When they taste it, they love it,” Chaplot said. After giving it considerable thought, Chaplot decided she and the company she founded would pay the freight for everybody who orders Gallivant Mawa Ice Cream all month long. So from March 1 through March 31, Gallivant Mawa Ice Cream will pay the shipping cost on all ice cream ordered online for home delivery, in return for a little help and creativity from consumers.
Here’s how it works. Online shoppers simply go to www.gallivanticecreams.com, then go to “shop now” here, and do the following:
1. Order and get the ice cream bundle of your choice delivered.
2. Take a picture of the ice-cream (you can be creative, we don't stop cold creativity!).
3. Upload it on Instagram or Facebook, and tag your 3 favorite grocery stores requesting to stock it. If you only have 1 or 2 favorite grocery stores, it’s okay. Tag them.
4. Don't forget to tag and follow us at @gallivanticreams.
5. We will refund $35 back to your account.
“This is just one way Gallivant Mawa Ice Cream is celebrating women throughout March,” Chaplot said. “Stay tuned because we’ll be having other announcements throughout the month,” she added.
Chaplot’s birthday is March 8, International Women’s Day, which she said adds to her excitement about celebrating women. Quoting a famous line by Marilyn Monroe, Chaplot said with a smile, “Women who seek to be equal with men, lack ambition."
