Las Vegas, Nevada (January 2024) - Papa Tony’s Hot Sauce will exhibit at the 2024 Winter Fancy Food Show, the largest B2B-only specialty food industry event in the western United States. Papa Tony’s Hot Sauce will showcase its delicious line of sauces in booth IV18.
Papa Tony's Hot Sauce specializes in gourmet hot sauces using the freshest, local ingredients. Papa Tony’s offers five varieties of hot sauce including Garlic Habanero, Mango Habanero, Ghostly Garlic, Scorpion’s Kiss and Caribbean Crush.
Papa Tony’s story serves as motivation to aspiring entrepreneurs to trust their creativity, believe in their talents and to bet on themselves at all costs. In April 2021 while living in New Orleans, former middle school Social Studies teacher, Tony Wilson created a Garlic and a Mango Habanero hot sauce for dinner. After posting the creation to Facebook, his followers began to inquire about purchasing the product. He decided to lean into the concept, having his wife make up the logo and began bottling and selling at a rapid pace, selling over 300 bottles in the first month. A few months later they relocated to Washington state where he hit the ground running. Through e-commerce, wholesale and retail efforts, Papa Tony’s has jumped from selling 2,000 bottles in 2021 to over 28,000 bottles in 2023, totalling over 40,000 bottles of hot sauce sold in less than 3 years of business.
Papa Tony’s has been featured on Fox 13 Live, King 5 Evening, Seattle Refined, Seattle Met and Pittsburgh Today Live, and was most recently awarded the 2023 Emerging Business of the Year award by the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce. “Our products are made with love and passion, but even further, we have cracked the hot sauce code. Many hot sauces have a lot of heat with no flavor or conversely have little heat with great flavor. Our products are the perfect balance of heat and flavor. They make any dish or snack fun!” Owner Tony Wilson states as to the reason for the rapid growth and popularity.
