BRATTLEBORO, VERMONT—June 14, 2024 We invite you to join us and sample the Dosa Kitchen product line:

STONE-GROUND DOSA BATTER, our signature product. It is a readymade, fermented sourdough-style batter that’s gut-healthy, gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan. The dosas we make from it are tangy, airy, crisp, and fun to eat. But we don’t stop there. Our dosa batter is endlessly versatile and works in both sweet and savory dishes. We use it to make waffles, pancakes, wraps, tempura, onion rings, and even fried fish and fried chicken!

KAANJI, an Indian digestive tonic made from organic beets and carrots. It’s bold, bright, salty, sour, and tangy, and also naturally probiotic, low-sugar, and low-calorie: the perfect functional beverage! We are the only US company to offer Kaanji, and we are excited about the potential market of hundreds of thousands of Indians living here in North America who grew up drinking this heritage beverage. We are introducing a 16-oz multiple shot bottle, with 2-oz Probiotic Wellness Shots in the works. 

MYSORE CHUTNEY, our all-in-one answer to hot sauce, chutney, and chili garlic sauce. It’s a bright blend of chilis, fresh garlic, and vinegar, inspired by the lively flavors of Mysore, India. It’s perfect on dosas and anywhere you’d like an extra kick of heat, from fried eggs, to corn on the cob, and chicken wings.

ABOUT DOSA KITCHEN

Dosa Kitchen was founded by Nash Patel, who learned to make his first dosas from his mother in India, and food writer Leda Scheintaub. They started with a food truck in 2014 serving what fans call “the best dosas in the US,” went on to write the country’s first dosa cookbook (Dosa Kitchen, Random House, 2018), and launched their consumer packaged goods brand in 2023.
