Whey Better Cookie Co. is Expanding
Brighton, MI-January 22, 2022-Whey Better Cookie Co. the local bakery known for their delicious 6oz protein cookies and fresh protein shakes is taking a very sweet next step. Get ready for a sugar rush as the Hayes’ expand their bakery into a fun, colorful and whimsical candy store…but wait, there’s more! In addition to adding delicious sweets, and gourmet chocolates they are also opening a bubble tea counter. “We will be offering a variety of different bubble tea flavors to our menu as well” said owner and founder of Whey Better Cookie Co. Keri Hayes. “We wanted to bring something lighthearted and fun to town. A destination for kids, teens and parents to have a fun experience.” Visitors will be able to satisfy their sweet tooth with mouth-watering candies, chocolate, cotton candy, bubble gum and more. Guests can create fun gift baskets for special occasions like Valentine’s Day, Birthdays and Anniversaries and enjoy some sweet sips from protein shakes to specialty herbal waters to bubble tea with tapioca and popping pearls.
Whey Better Cookie Co was founded in 2018 by husband and wife team Greg and Keri Hayes. The pair started their bakery in their own kitchen, eventually moved to a shared commercial shared kitchen and now have their own retail location in downtown Brighton. You can stop in Tuesday-Saturday and choose items from their fresh baked protein line such as cookies, banana pudding, peanut butter cups and cookie dough.
Whey Better Cookie Co. is located at 711 W. Grand River in Brighton. They are open Tuesday-Thursday 11:00AM-6:00PM, Friday 11:00AM-4:00PM and Saturday 11:00AM-3:00PM.
