Beyond the Olive Goes Beyond Vinegar

LA-based specialty food company introduces line of flavored vinegars

Los Angeles-based specialty food company Beyond the Olive, is thrilled to introduce its line of delicious and captivating fruit vinegars to the 2023 New York City Fancy Food Fair.

Our Raspberry Basil Fruit Vinegar is created from hand-picked raspberries and fresh basil, which is lovingly grown on our friend's organic farm in Central California near San Luis Obispo. Raspberry Basil Fruit Vinegar is the perfect way to enjoy a salad, and it’s especially delightful with a Caprese. It can be used as a marinade on chicken, or as a captivating slow reduction over Brie cheese.

We’ve also added California Mission Figs to our popular Traditional Balsamic Vinegar to create a pulpy best seller. This barrel-aged balsamic vinegar is produced for us using traditional methods in Modena, Italy.

With a host of intense berry notes, the elegant, thick rich balsamic is perfect for salads, and desserts, or just lazily and deliciously drizzling over fresh fruit.

Fig lovers and non-fig lovers alike will swoon over its smooth, nutty flavor. It ‘s perfect for finishing cooked or grilled meats, and it creates quite the impressive and elegant display, dramatically swirled across intense cheeses.

Enjoy a fruitier flavor? Our Raspberry Pear White Balsamic Vinegar tastes as delicious as it sounds. This barrel-aged balsamic vinegar is also produced using traditional methods in Modena, Italy and "fruited" in Los Angeles, California, using real raspberries and pears.

Combined with our white balsamic to create a smooth, rich finish, the Raspberry Pear White Balsamic Vinegar pairs perfectly with our Lime Olive Oil and is sinfully fun with our Citrus Habanero.

And sure, you could have Pumpkin Everything at Thanksgiving, but why not add a different style to this year’s gathering? Our Cranberry Persimmon Balsamic Vinegar begins with our barrel aged balsamic from Modena, Italy, to which we add our own California persimmons and cranberries from our friends in the Northeast. Just a touch of cinnamon makes this balsamic vinegar treat even more special.

Drizzle this innovative flavor on Mom’s baked squash. How about glazing a roast or topping a dessert with it? Our Cranberry Persimmon Balsamic Vinegar is also the perfect, splashy finish to a holiday ham or turkey. 

And speaking of dazzling flavors, our Plum Cardamom Balsamic Vinegar is a rich, heaping dollop of creative flavor.

Like most of our flavorful vinegars, it begins with our barrel-aged balsamic from Modena, Italy, to which we add our own California Plums to create this rich, finishing balsamic. 

This delicious vinegar pairs perfectly with big, bold cheeses, and is always welcome and popular on a cheese board. 

We’re thinking cocktails! This is much better than a shrub for your cocktails. Just mix it with grapefruit juice and a spritz of soda water, and you’re the most interesting person in the room. If they ask, it's the touch of cardamom and pepper that keeps this balsamic, and you, so intriguing.
