Portugal's career in the specialty food industry began as a child, growing up in a candy and homemade ice cream store. Her retail sales experience and love of specialty foods led her to join her father's (Gene Pinski) brokerage company in 1981. With 35 years of perseverance and dedication, her company continues to represent high end award winning lines.
