Jay Salomon

Jay joined Jaret International in 1951, and several years later he and two partners purchased the company. Under his leadership, the company ushered in Lindt Chocolate, Swedish Fish, Sour Patch Kids, Grille Toast and many other specialties into the American market. The confectionary division was sold in 1996 and the Food Division was retained until his retirement in 2000.
